macOS

.dmg image — drag Olderion into Applications. On first launch, approve the app in System Settings → Privacy & Security → "Open Anyway" (the client is not notarized by Apple). Apple Silicon Macs run it via Rosetta 2, offered automatically by macOS.

Windows blocked the download or installer?

Use the Windows ZIP from this page — that is the only Windows download we offer. The official client is served only here. Browser warnings and SmartScreen appear because the publisher is still building reputation on Windows, not because the file is malware.

  1. Log in and download Windows — ZIP.
  2. Extract the ZIP, then open README.txt for the short setup steps.
  3. Right-click the .exe → Properties → check Unblock → Apply.
  4. Run the installer. If SmartScreen appears: More info → Run anyway.
  • Chrome / Edge: downloads bar → Keep → Keep anyway if asked.
  • Still stuck? Ask on Discord and include a screenshot of the warning.
